This visualization allows you to explore Premier League team performance consistency over the seasons
2014-24.
π The design objective while building this visualization was to help users identify teams with high or
low year-to-year position volatility (standard deviation) and compare teamsβ average positions over
time.
To interact!
π Hover over bubbles in the bubble chart to view volatility and season count.
π Click on a bubble or select a team from the dropdown to update the trend chart.
π Size of the bubble represents the number of seasons the team has been in the league.
π The trend chart shows team positions by season. Lower values = higher ranking.
π Dropdown lets you select different teams easily.
π Multiple teams can be selected by checking the box next to the "Plot Multiple Teams" checkbox
to make comparison easier.
π The trend chart will update to show the selected teams' performance consistencies over seasons.
π You can also choose between top 10 and top 20 teams by clicking on the radio buttons.
